The assignment here is to shoot animal portraits so if you can’t make the shoot do some other animals. Individual and group portraits. One of each to go on Flickr.
We are going to meet in the Wotton estate car park White Down in White down lane.
There is a field near by with lambs and ewes which is on the Crocknorth road.

Our planned trip to Abinger Roughs had to be changed at the last minute due to the access road being closed for repairs.
Instead we visited Rodborough Common to do some macro photography.
Members are asked to submit one macro photograph and a second non macro photograph taken on the photoshoot.

The Kingston Photoshoot was led by Gachou on 26th January.
Kingston shoot: This month the photoshoot took place in Kingston Town. At the meeting in January the talk and practice were on using our smartphone in a more effective way by knowing a little more on the settings in our mobile phone. The shoot was to only use a smartphone or iPhone and play with changing filters, doing a panorama shot, focusing and locking it before taking an image.

Gachou led the London Lights photoshoot on 7th December 2022.
The meeting point was Green Park underground station. From there the group headed along Bond Street, then right into Oxford Street and down Regent St and back to Waterloo.

Continuing our photoshoots in the villages south of Guildford, this time Gachou took us to England’s biggest village – Cranleigh. The tag for this shoot is shoot-2022-12.
If you weren’t able to join the shoot, photos of Cranleigh taken on a different day are still welcome so long as they are posted before our usual deadline.
Continuing our tour of the beautiful villages to the south of Guildford, Gachou led our photoshoot around Shamley Green. With thirteen in the group this must be a record turn out for our post lock down sessions.
Each member is allowed up to two submissions using the shoot-2022-11 tag. If you weren’t able to attend the photoshoot please feel free to enter photos of Shamley Green taken at another time. As with the Wonersh photoshoot, postcard style entries are welcomed.
For our April meeting the photoshoot assignment was London Street Art and Architecture. Gachou kindly led a small group to London where we spent several hours photographing around Old Street, City Road, Hoxton and Shoreditch.
