John Clark led the photoshoot to the Rural Life Living Museum at Tilford.
Flickr Tag is shoot-2026-05. 2 photos per member. John has asked for an outside shot and an inside shot . A postcard style entry would also be fine.

Our “Signs of Old Guildford ” photoshoot, led by Mick, took place on 18th March. Use Flickr Tag shoot-2026-04. Just 2 photos per member please. Submissions by Wednesday 1st April.
On 22nd January Gachou led our photoshoot on the Jubilee and Elizabeth lines. Starting at Waterloo and travelling out to Canary Wharf, we stopped at some of the more interesting stations on the lines, photographing inside and outside the stations.

Hello everybody, just a reminder that the photos from the Guildford ‘Night Walk’ photoshoot with Harry should be submitted for review at the January meeting ie; by 7th January using tag shoot-2026-01
There is still loads of time for those who were unable to attend the ‘shoot’ to visit Guildford and take some night shots – the Christmas lights are up, the Castle is being illuminated and the shops etc are setting up for the festive season.
Mobile phones generally are pretty good for night shots in low light so why not combine some Christmas shopping with some photographs.
My thanks to Harry for arranging the photoshoot that I gather was well attended.

Ann Jacobs led our photoshoot starting at Sheepleas Shere Road Car Park, on the 16th October 2025.
Final submission date is 5th November, up to 2 photographs per member.
Our photoshoot at Broadwater Lake, Godalming was led by Ann Jacobs on 20th March 2025.
Paul Graber has offered to review the photos at our April meeting, these should be loaded into flickr using the tag ass-2025-04 and be assigned to the Guildford u3a Photography Group in flickr. 2 photos per member only please.
Our February Photoshoot took place at Mercedes World, Brooklands Road, Weybridge. Admission to the museum is free and proved a rich vein for photographing all things Mercedes. There is also a test track and skid pan outside for further photo opportunities. Photography is welcome at the museum.

Brooklands has a fantastic collection of exhibits both inside and outside so is very well worth a visit.
Photos taken (max 2 per member) can be submitted to shoot-2025-02 by Wednesday 5th February please.
